East rodeo will perform (on 10th december) at Audio art festival in Krakow, check it out: Audio Art Festival presents the most famous artists of Audio Art all over the world. Audio Art is one of the most avantgarde (?) or one of the most postmodernist-like art at the close of the XX century. This is an art where the most personal attitude of the author becomes the basis of all artistic activity, Audio Art creates the new sound form - the sound as a material in certain space and time. The source of sound is an object with a new meaning, or simply a new musical instrument. Audio Art is a combination of visual arts with a new concept of sound, including elements of performance and sound installation. This is a "one person art": composer, designer and performer unifying the whole process of art creation. Within the festival there will be presented Audio Art events and other concerts extending the whole image of art based on sound

Alert! Alert! Somebody is being manipulating with our english news page! Some updates have been erased from our beautyful site...What a sad story. If You find something out about this incident please contact the East Rodeo Bureau of Investigation ERBI immediately!
Well, let's do a check of the past events. We had the great pleusure to play a showcase concert in Paris with our dear friend Miro. It resulted as a genuine blast! There is a remote possibility that this news page is gonna be written in french in the near future... why? Because we're totally into that shit and it could turn out to be something very special! So expect us to throw some frenchy words here and there just to show off a bit...Ca se comprend!
Our albanian friend and keyboard player Kole Laca was very diligent in past weeks and created a wonderful East Rodeo-Blog on My Space.com. Check it out!
Today its a bit of a sad day for us easterns...the gig we had to be playing today in Venice its been cancelled because of the rising of the waters. The event is gonna take place in the near future. Check out the gig page for more info. Well that's about it for today!
Gore Ushi-Dole Pushi!

Well...It's been a while from our last news check. Looks like we're updating it once in a month! Are we so lazy? Of course not! We're trying to make something work out here! Trying to dig some gigs out, rehearse some new songs and eventually (hopefully in three weeks...) get back at Roveroni's "Fabbrica del Suono" and record them. We've had a great time in Wienna two weeks ago. Been there for ten days straight. Played three gigs at the OST Deli Klub (ULTRA BIG THANK YOU!!! to Matthias Angerer for inviting us again at his great club!) and spent two days in Pinkafelds "Mushroom" studio recording Imre Boszokis music. We nearly collapsed but finally managed to put eight tracks inside the damn Mac. It was a real GUERILLA recording session! Seek-and-record! But East Rodeo prevailed!!! (ooops...sounds like little old George W. here... Beg you pardon...won't happen again) We' re back in our cozy little home town of Pula breathing fresh air and rehearsing some new stuff. We got a bit lazy...but we're gettin' back in line with the work. Unfortunately you won’t have the opportunity to meet us this month because we're out of gigs! Told you we got lazy...But do not despair because (like ol' Arnie once said) We'll be back! Pozdrav

Ciao people! Breaking news! We finally made it in the studio prior to record the material for our new CD. The first song is already sounding great and developing brillantly! That's it for now...Duty is calling!

Finaly after chilling most of this summer out, we're back on the road again and most importantly we're getting back in to the studio to record some new material. We're working on some pretty strange things...Strange is good...well you'll be hearing some of it on our upcoming gigs! Our first session will take place between the 22nd and the 25th of september at Alberto Roveroni's "Fabbrica del Suono" in Padua. Unfortunatelly the show in Buje (Croatia) which we had to play the 18th of september is cancelled. Be back soon!

This is strange.... everytime (actually it's just the second....but who cares!) that we find some time to update our english news-page we're in.... PARIS! Ha ha ha! Oui, oui we're back! The takes we did with Miro camed out really cool so we decided to record some more as soon as possible. Today was the first day of recording in Miro's studio and we already got a new song on tape! Pretty strange stuff happening here....some strange sounds coming from the control room....psychedelic laughs...screams....then I realized it's the mac playing the recorded material!********************************************* The last few weeks we were traveling around. Started out in Italy to end up in the south of Croatia. Man it's summer down there! It was a flash in Split, having a drink in a bar right on the beach (somewhere around 11pm!) and there were a bunch of people playing ball in the sea! And now we're freezing our asses here in Paris!*********************************************************** In Trieste we played in this newly occupied place right by the sea. An enourmous industrial-like building! The whole second floor was rearranged for the gig. I have to admit that we didn't need any delay-effects on our instruments 'couse there was plenty of that coming back and forth from the biggest concrete walls we've ever seen! It was a bit chaotic but it camed out great. Those "triestini's" are crazy! If they go on like that they are gonna occupy the whole coast of Trieste in no time! Well at least there's gonna be enough places for lots of bends to perform at! Well.....All'arrembaggio!!!**************************************** Talking about strange things happening.....in Montebelluna we played a gig together with an italian band called Mariposa (check them out!) we opened our show with a pretty agressive intro feat. Neno screaming as loud as he could right into the mic. There was an old hippie-like man' in front of the stage with an electric guitar on his shoulder, who started screaming like hell showing us the middle finger and stuff! Noticing that the old man was having a great time... we hit it even harder! The poor guy took out his guitar (hope it wasn't his only posession....but he surely looed like it was) and started smashing it onto the concrete floor untill it broke into pieces! Man! The best intro we ever played!!!!********************** ************************* Right after finishing the gig in Maribor's Satchmo jazz Club (yes, you got it right... jazz Club... we have some tiny bits of ching-a-ding, ching-a-ding in a few pieces of ours afterall!) we parked ourselves backstage where the guys from the club tried to kill us by intoxicating us with gallons of beer! Well we're still alive and can't wait to get back there as soon as possible!*********************************** This is getting pretty long!!! We'll half of the band is still in the control room trying to figure out where to put all those psychotic overdubs...hopefully they won't wreck the song!************** Nova Gorica was great! Played with another cool band this time from Serbia: Neocekivena Sila.... and some other stuff that I didn't manage to remember because they have the longest name in the history of music! Finally an Open air show. At least we didn't sweat like pigs... And then we found ourselves in Split....it was so beautiful that I....can't.....write....about....it...any...more! Thanks for getting us down there! Jihaaaaaaaa!****************************** Extremely great thanx to: the guys from Global Espo; Roberto & Cavallo; Jure & Klemen and the whole equip at Satchmo; Andrej (KAPA), Tadej and everybody who got us in Nova Gorica; The Kocka Crew: Branko & Ivan & Maja. ********************Hopefully I didn't left someone out!*********************Ps: If you asked yourselves.... "who the hell is this "I" writing all this stuff anyway!".... well....you'll never know!! Because this band it's even more mysterious than Evanesssssssence!!! Ok it's time to find a tree and hang my self.... Alla prossima

Finnally we got our brand new news-page thanks to our Grand Web Master... Shilji!!! Had a really great time during our short tour thru Italy. From Arezzo to Palermo we played really good clubs and met a bunch of great people. A really big thank You goes to Andrea Pennisi of Lapis in Catania and Marco Di Dia of Succoacido in Palermo for the help and dedication. Right after the gig we played last friday (march 25th) in Wienna`s OST Deli Klub we hit the road to Paris to work with french singer/composer Jean-Marc Miro recording some really cool music for his upcoming CD release. Buried ourselves in his studio for the last two days. In fact, we`re still here working out some songs right now... Check out Miro`s website at www.miromaispasourd.com. Tomorrow we`re back on the road again heading back to Wienna and getting back to ol`Italy on sunday taking a short break and hitting the road again in about two weeks. Check out our gigs/events page for our upcoming gigs. A la prochaine!
